Summer Hibiscus

Summer Hibiscus

I'm no longer allowed to complain about my beadwork being difficult to photograph because I've determined that photographing my fluid art is even more challenging lol 🤧.

Even in mild outdoor lighting I find it so difficult to find the right angle to avoid glare while also trying to accurately capture the colors. Also, for reasons unknown to me, I have a better chance of achieving the latter if I'm taking stills while in video mode? The heck lol??

Anyway, this is a reverse dip painting I created maybe threeish years ago, and I love the contrast between that bright turquoise background and the vivid colors of the flower. For some reason it reminds me of hibiscus flowers so I named the piece Summer Hibiscus (my painting naming game needs work lol). This is a 10x10 canvas with sawtooth hanging hardware, and I will be adding it to my shop soon 🥰!
