Tropical Blooms

A great example of why background color makes a difference along with some info about layering Shelee blooms!

Tropical Blooms

I've determined that background color really makes a difference lol 😜. The more I look at the cactus flower palette over the light blue background; the more I see tropical rather than desert lol. I don't mind though. Some of these blooms turned out beautifully 🥰.

Fun Fact: these ornaments are also a prime example of why layering your paints from thickest to thinnest/most fluid for Shelee blooms matters. The pinks I used are older and thicker, and while I thinned them before painting, I only did so sparingly because I didn't want to lose pigment. When the pinks were layered on top rather than the bottom, it was easier to accidentally blow through to the already thin pillow (aka base) and not have all of the colors and cell activators work as well as they could have.
